No exaggerations here. Just the facts. We stayed 19 Hours and then found another hotel. The “resort” if it can be called as such is comprised 20 huts in various states of disrepair that are little more that storage sheds with thatched roofs. Our beachfront “villa” had 2 holes in the roof the size of tennis balls. There is no Air Conditioning and this is one of the hottest places on Earth. I can only imagine how many people sweated through the sheets on the bed we tried to sleep on. The bathrooms are like something from a KOA campground complete with open screens that allow every sound from the bathroom to be spread throughout the resort. Mosquitoes are the most common visitors here, although there were 2 other couples staying in the resort with us. We were advised not to walk north on the beach as there was a “settlement” with dogs that have bitten visitors. All of the beach chairs are broken. There is NO SNORKLING. There are NO ACTIVITIES. Everything is outsourced to various operators. This hotel is no where near any kind of town or activity. The owners let their 6 year old girl run around naked all day, and they are extremely cheap people. We suspected they would never refund our money, but we were willing to lose $1,000 to get out of there and find a new hotel. Staying there would have ruined our trip. Beware. Beware. Beware.
