Complimentary services include Room Service at the same hours the hotel bar is open, free wi-fi hotspot which covers not only the special Internet Corner and the two desktop computers for the use of guests, but also the Reception, Hotel Lobby and Main Hall, the Veranda, even the Swimming Pool: you could be working in your laptop while enjoying your drink by the pool! Faxing and Photocopying in reasonable quantities is also free of charge. The reception staff will only be too happy to book you hairstyling or manicure and pedicure appointments etc. in salons around town.
At an extra price laundry and ironing service, babysitting, excursions, taxis or a local guide to accompany you to places of archaeological interest can be arranged.
All rooms are en-suite with a shower and are equipped with A/C, TV, central heating, hairdryer, safety deposit box, mini-fridge and their own balcony or roofless veranda at the top floor. Rooms were completely refurbished with new bathrooms and furniture between 2006 and 2008. All the common areas of the Hotel were also renovated in the last two years. In the ground floor you will find the Reception, Internet Corner, a TV Room with a big screen and the Main Hall. At the far end of the Main Hall there is a Bar which also serves the breezy, atmospheric Veranda with the lovely garden view.
The garden is laid out in casual Mediterranean style with a lot of indigenous plants and birds and it leads straight to a beach with tranquil waters, safe and fun for every age. A big Roman style fountain is the first thing you meet when you walk out of the sea side door, while a number of reproductions of ancient Greek statues are placed in various spots in the garden for you to discover. Our fresh water swimming pool and the little children’s pool is surrounded by fully grown trees and it feels like an oasis in the summer heat. Around the pool and on the beach front you can find sun beds and umbrellas, while other garden facilities include a children’s playground and a shady, outdoor breakfast terrace, a BBQ area and a ping pong table.
Location Description: Lixouri is a typical Greek town with an independent life and not entirely supported by tourism. The locals gather a lot at the cafes surrounding the central square and at the little side roads during the day and until late at night. At the port you can take the ferry boat to Argostoli, the capital of Kafalonia. There is a good selection of restaurants serving local and international cuisine, a famous cake and ice cream shop, quite a few fashion boutiques and many other shopping opportunities. Kefalonia airport is about 40 klm away from the hotel.
Dining: Although the hotel does not have a restaurant as such, there is a snack bar open from 10:00 to 24:00 hours, which serves made to order snacks, fresh juices, coffee, drinks, and ice cream. Room service is available during the same times. Complimentary buffet breakfast is served between 07:00 and 10:00 in the hotel main hall and the veranda.

Transportation: By Public Transport:
There is a direct bus service from and to Athens via the ferry connecting Patras to Sami, in the eastern part of Kefalonia.
By Plane:
There are domestic flights connecting the island to the mainland daily. From May to October, there are charter flights from many major European cities. At the airport there is a taxi rank, as well as many car hire agencies. In Lixouri itself, there are places where you can hire a car.
By Sea:
If travelling in your own car, you can take the ferry from the mainland (Patras or Killini on the Peloponnese).
Car Parking: There is amble outdoor parking space at the left and right of the hotel garden and it is free of charge.
Comments: Dogs are welcome in Hotel Summery (upon request and provided they are supervised at all times). Dining out with a dog on a leash is acceptable in most outdoor restaurants as well as in bars and coffee places. There are no specified dog beaches or dog parks in the area, but pets are tolerated almost anywhere, except food stores, busy public beaches in high season and museums.

Located towards the west of the island, Lixouri is the 2nd largest village on the island. By the Argostoli Bay, Lixouri enjoys many beautiful beaches, including Lepeda, Xi and Mega Lakos. In the main town, you can visit the bars and cafes surrounding Plateia Petritsi Square.
Location Description: With a population of 3,000 permanent residents, Lixouri is quiet in the off-season months and very busy in the summer.
From the hotel, you can easily walk to the town centre where there are restaurants, tavernas and shops. At the port, you can catch the ferry to the other side of the Gulf, or a boat to the mainland.
The Pali peninsula features some of the most famous beaches, lots of interesting historic and religious sites, and beautiful countryside.
Rooms: Every room is en suite and has a balcony or veranda. Most double rooms have twin beds and rooms on the top floor have beamed ceilings.
All rooms are cleaned daily, with bath towels changed every day and bed sheets every couple of days. Dogs are welcome only if supervised at all times.
Double Room - Sea View - All of these rooms have twin beds.
The rooms on the top floor also have a country-style decor and roofless verandas.
The rooms in the rest of the building have a contemporary decor and balconies.
Sea View Single Occupant - The hotel does not have any single rooms, but this double room with twin beds is charged as a single if there is only one occupant.
Double Room - City View - Facing west, these city view rooms have balconies overlooking Lixouri town and the neighbouring hills.
Some city view rooms have double beds, whilst the others have twin beds.
Double Room with Extra Bed - Sea View - Please note that the 3rd bed may be a camp bed and that, after the addition of this bed, space in the room may be limited.
Triple Room - City View - These rooms face west and their balconies overlook the hotel's front street and a quiet Lixouri neighbourhood. They have 3 standard-size single beds.
