Location Description: The Maribago Blue Water resort is located on the white-sand shores of Mactan Island, just 15 minutes away from Mactan Cebu International Airport.
Exterior: This resort is surrounded by plenty of greenery and sand. There are separate buildings for the rooms and the facilities. Bungalows are available as well. The resort has Filipino-Spanish style architecture with typical straw roofs.
Lobby: The lobby is homely and small of size with seating areas. The lobby is furnished with Filipino style wood and with light colours. The lobby entrance is widely open and with plenty of fresh air and natural day light. The lobby is connected with a hallway leading to the hotel's conference rooms.
Rooms: Deluxe Rooms have either beach view or garden view with 25-27.5 sqm in size. All rooms and bathroom are large and in good condition. The rooms are cosy decorated with light brown wood. The marble bathrooms have hot and cold running water. All rooms are fully air-conditioned with mini bar, fridge, cable TV and a private balcony.
Dining: There are 3 restaurants and 3 bars on the resort. Allegro Restaurant is the main restaurant which offers al fresco patio dining by the pool or in air-conditioned comfort. Serves daily buffet breakfast and lunch and dinner ala carte or buffet menus. Open 24 hours daily. The Cove is a live seafood restaurant that overlooks the Alegrado Island and the open sea. Open daily for lunch from 10am to 2pm and dinner 6pm to 10pm. Molto Joli is an Italian Cafe that offers fresh salads, pasta, pizza, sandwishes and desserts, as well as cool refreshments. Open daily 10am to 10pm. The Amuma Spa Cafe is serving fresh fruit and salads, light meals and sandwishes. It also has innovative fruit and vegetable-based drinks, milkshakes and flavoured iced teas. Open daily from 6am to 9pm. Oyster Bar at The Cove is an open-air bar located on the beach. Open daily from 10am to 10pm. Pool Bar is a cozy native-style bar beside the main swimming pool. NOTE: Starting 05 April 2008, some rooms will be closed for total renovation and projected completion of these rooms will be on 01 August 2008. Renovations works will be from 8am-5pm, Mondays to Saturdays. Please be assured that the renovation works will be of minimal distraction to the guests and rooms near the cottages being renovated are the last priority to be booked and/or assigned.
